Ship: Adventure of the Seas
Destination: Caribbean

Pros: Atmosphere, facilities onboard, and ports.
Cons: The food was a little poor.
I had an excellent 14-night cruise around the Southern Caribbean on Adventure of The Seas. We stayed in the Caribe Hilton in San Juan, for one night before the cruise, the hotel was great. Once we boarded the ship, we started exploring, having been on a voyager class ship before, I was aware of what to expect, and it did not take long for us to settle in. Our new favourite places included The 19th Hole, The Sports Bar and The Dog and Duck - for obvious reasons. We loved the atmosphere onboard, and the cruise director Mike Szwajkowski was amazing, definitely, the best I have had in a long time. In particular, we loved visiting Barbados, where we went to The Boathouse; there was a great beach, restaurant and activities for everyone. We also enjoyed St Lucia; we went to Rodney Bay, where we were amused by the fruit boat in the sea (a unique way of selling fruit)! Our absolute favourite was St Thomas, where we have been a few times, but we still manage to find new things to do, I recommend snorkelling with the turtles, we went out on a pirate ship for this, a great experience. Overall, I loved my time; I think Royal Caribbean is great. My only criticism is the food onboard, my family and I always enjoy The Windjammer cafe on the Royal Caribbean ships, but we found the food selection in the evening, was a bit poorer than other cruise we have previously been on.
